Today’s presentation covers ten of the most common pitfalls students face when attending college or university. Not only does this presentation discuss these concerns in a countdown format, it mentions individual approaches and solutions to each pitfall. Do you or your student(s) struggle with finances, knowing how to interact with professors, or homesickness? This presentation addresses those and more. Additionally, the last slide of the presentation lists multiple resources (many of which are free of charge) to help mitigate many of these difficulties. If the student is aware of the common pitfalls before starting college, the hope is that they can avoid many of them all together!
